Our Vision
Ángeles de la Salud sobre Ruedas (ASR) is a community-based, non-profit organization of voluntary and professional healthcare providers who freely give of their talents.
Since one of the most urgent needs of the rural population in Guatemala is access to health, our Angels of health provide "community home visits" directly to their villages through our mobile clinics.
Our Core Goal
Determine health needs through dialogues with local residents, community/religious leaders, and local health departments; and provide a wide range of health services to cover these needs.

Implementation Roadmap
Our phased approach to building a self-sustainable healthcare ecosystem
Phase 1 — Mobile Dental Care
The ASR Board is formed and staffed, involves the community, recruits volunteers, and provides mobile dental services for preventative education and treatment.
Phase 2 — Mobile General Medicine
Board and volunteers expand services to provide mobile medical clinics for general consultations, pediatric checkups, prenatal care, and vaccines.
Phase 3 — Specialty Services Expansion
Introduce telehealth consultations and expand mobile services to include psychology, sociology, nutrition guidance, and alcoholism / substance abuse outpatient recovery.
Phase 4 — Comprehensive Health Center
Construct and staff a permanent comprehensive community health center in the Department of Santa Rosa, with multiple satellite health clinics throughout the region.

We are proud to work closely with our sister affiliation, the Glens Falls Medical Mission Foundation (GFMMF.org), to scale healthcare resources.
